Office of Student Services & Advising Center

The Office of Student Services, through the Advising Center, is responsible for the academic advising of all undergraduate students, intended as well as declared majors. The Advising Center is open each day, when school in session, and is staffed by Ms. Bonnie Ainsley, Ms. Shonda Drake, Ms. Sherra McMillan, Mr. Gene Owens, Ms. Erin Rogers and Ms. Jeannie Yount. Although students are assigned to a specific advisor, you may see anyone in the center.

Students are encouraged to meet with the advisors as often as possible in order to better establish free and open lines of communication. Advisors are available to assist in any way possible with academic problems, and are also interested in becoming better acquainted with students as individuals.

The Advising Center will open daily Monday through Friday when school is in session. The hours are 8am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Students may feel free to visit their advisor during these hours or schedule a specific appointment for a conference using advisors' online calendars. Please schedule appointments to begin no later than 4:30 pm. Advisors will assist with registration, drop-add procedures and graduation requirements. All advisees are expected to regularly check their campus e-mail accounts.
