Dr. Pam Reis and Team Awarded $2.798 Million Grant from HRSA

Congratulations to Dr. Pam Reis and her team ( Drs. Ann King, Mike Urton, Syed Saeed, Sharona Johnson, Donna Lake) on the awarding of a $2.798 million grant from HRSA. This purpose of this grant is to support the education of the advance practice registered nurse primary care workforce in Eastern North Carolina by building academic-practice partnerships. The team will build on the strengths of our nurse practitioner, nurse-midwifery, and clinical nurse specialist programs through longitudinal primary care clinical and academic training experiences in rural and underserved communities.
