Jo Ellen Inman-Puckett: DNP Spotlight

Jo Ellen Inman-Puckett comes to the DNP program having previously matriculated through UNC-Charlotte and Queens University earning her BSN and MSN degrees. Jo Ellen is the Clinical Nurse Leader for Surgical/Trauma Division at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC.

Jo Ellen’s certifications include: CNL, CCCTM, AHN-BC and she is affiliated with NCANA, ASAM, and AANP. She has also served as an item writer on two national nursing certification boards; helped develop and implement the Clinical Nurse Leader role at Carolinas Medical Center and helped develop and implement the first Colorectal ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) position there as well.

In her personal life Jo Ellen has been married 32 years, raised two daughters, and loves her two rescue dogs. She also enjoys sailing, gardening, and prayer.
