Dr. Helene Reilly

Dr. Helene Reilly, DNP, RN, FNP-BC, joined the East Carolina University College of Nursing in 2017 as a clinical assistant professor in the DNP concentration. Dr. Reilly currently lives in Winterville, NC. She received her Nursing Diploma in 1972 and BSN from Mercy College in New York. She graduated from East Carolina University with her MSN-FNP (2002) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (2015).

Dr. Reilly is an experienced nurse and family nurse practitioner committed to imparting her knowledge and expertise to future doctorally-prepared nurse practitioners. She believes in inspiring nurses to reach their full potential as they transition from novice to expert practitioners. As an FNP, she has provided care in Eastern North Carolina for 18 years and currently sees patients at the Pitt County Health Department in Greenville, NC, in addition to her faculty role. Her special interests include women’s health, cardiovascular disease, health promotion, and disease prevention.
