Veronica Rankin: DNP Spotlight
ECU DNP Student To Be Inducted into The Great 100
Veronica Rankin is the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) Program Coordinator for Carolinas Medical Center- Central Division, located in Charlotte, NC. She has been a nurse for more than 14 years and a certified CNL for more than 5 years. Ms. Rankin obtained her Masters as a CNL from Queens University of Charlotte in 2011, her Post-Masters certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner in October 2014 from East Carolina University (ECU) and began the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at ECU in the Fall of 2016. She serves as adjunct faculty in the Queens University of Charlotte graduate nursing program and teaches CNL certification review sessions with CNL students regularly. As a published author and active member on various chapters and professional nursing organizations, Ms. Rankin’s primary career goal is to promote and advance the profession of nursing.
