Dear Alumni and Friends,

It is easy to believe given the deserved admiration for ECU’s College of Nursing that giving back equals that “admiration,” but our 3% annual alumni giving rate ($5 or more) refutes that. Please help us increase our percentage of alumni giving with your gift today, whether a one-time gift or a recurring scheduled payment.

To help alumni and friends better understand the increasingly critical role of philanthropy for the College of Nursing, I am most pleased to introduce to you a new member of our team, Terah Archie, Leadership Annual Giving Director. She looks forward to speaking with you directly, 252-524-1628.

Questions? Terah or I can help you!

Please tell other Pirate Nurses as well. March 18, 2020 will be Pirate Nation Gives Day. Please consider an online gift to College of Nursing THAT day as our live totals are in competition with other ECU colleges!

On Feb. 4 Kim Crickmore Osborne and Michelle Brooks honored Dean Brown with a gathering of alumni in Kim’s home to learn more about College of Nursing. We plan to do several such gatherings around the state as well as in the Greenville area. If you or your group are interested in hosting such a gathering, please contact me. We welcome all such opportunities!

Please watch for our Pirate Nurse Group on Facebook as an easy way to track events and your alumni news!

This fall will mark the 60th Anniversary of the founding of the College of Nursing! Terah and I welcome your suggestions for how to make it a most memorable year for all Nursing alumni!

Lead On, Pirate Nurses, Lead On,

Sincerely,

G. Elizabeth Maxwell
