If you feel that you have been harassed or discriminated against based on one of the University’s protected classes, subjected to sexual harassment, or retaliated against related to a reported protected class concern, please submit a report to Equal Opportunity and Title IX Concerns & Complaints handles concerns regarding the protected classes of disability, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, age, sex, gender identity, color, veteran status, genetic information, political affiliation, national origin, and religion. The ECU Department of People Operations, Success, and Opportunity also handles reports of sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.

ECU College of Nursing faculty, staff, and students are strongly encouraged to abide by established university policy and to utilize the proper chain of command when voicing a complaint such as through the student’s instructor, a faculty member’s Department Chair, or the staff’s immediate supervisor. The ECU College of Nursing’s Office of Culture, Engagement, and Professional Development serves as a neutral entity whereby faculty, staff, and students may express a complaint if you are uncomfortable with expressing their complaint through the proper chain of command. In this instance, please complete form below and the Office of Culture, Engagement, and Professional Development will serve as facilitator to assist you in having your voice heard.

Please note that while identifying information such as name and email address is not required to submit comments, including this information will allow the Office of Culture, Engagement, and Professional Development to respond to your comment or concern directly.
