BSN to DNP-FNP Student Makenze Caldwell

Student in the BSN to DNP-FNP program at ECU.
Education includes a BSN from ECU & Ambulatory Care RN
certification.
Experience working in the operating room, emergency department, and
primary care.
Hopes to use the skills and knowledge acquired in the APRN RURAL Scholars program to provide care to underserved and rural populations. Also aspires to participate in mission work to provide healthcare to patients in developing countries.
In her free time, she and her husband enjoy visiting the beach, traveling,
hiking, and playing with their black labs named Buxton & Bodie.
