Virtual Scholarship/Endowment Reception. A link to this event will be sent to scholarship donors and scholarship recipients as well as being listed on our website for everyone to experience the impact of these scholarships. Elizabeth Maxwell and Terah Archie will set up individual virtual calls between donors and their scholars at times convenient to each since the pandemic prevents our customary on-campus celebration.

Terah will send your login for the virtual meeting and answer your questions if you haven’t done this before. If you don’t have a camera on your computer, you will click on the emailed link from your smartphone at the appropriate time to enjoy your virtual reunion. All alumni, current faculty, staff, and faculty emeriti are invited to participate and celebrate 60 years of Pirate Nurses! (Dates and Times listed separately)

Check the College of Nursing’s website for a dramatic impersonation by Dr. Melissa Beck of Florence Nightingale in honor of the 200th anniversary of her birth.
October 16
Virtual Homecoming Celebration of College of Nursing’s 60th Anniversary – this virtual celebration will include a “Coast-to-Coast Toast” by Dean Brown from the comfort of your home.
An email link for the “Coast -to-Coast Toast” will be sent to all alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the College of Nursing for whom we have email addresses. Please update your contact information so you receive your link at Alumni Registration. Remind other Pirate Nurses as well!

All nominations due for the 2021 Hall of Fame. The 2020 and 2021 Hall of Fame Classes will be inducted in 2021.

Graduation Celebrations of Spring 2020 and Fall 2020 classes, including the first Legacy Launch in honor of the 60th anniversary. December 2020 will initiate this new tradition for new Pirate Nurses connecting our past with the future.
