Diversity

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The ECU College of Nursing Nurse-Midwifery concentration is dedicated to promoting and maintaining a diverse, welcoming, and inclusive community for our students, faculty, staff, patients, families, and all those we meet. We strive to be guideposts for those who seek our services, and we understand that the job we do impacts the communities we serve and ultimately, society. We know inequity and inequality in perinatal outcomes and health disparities are prevalent across our state and region. We celebrate our differences and recognize that resolving inequity and inequality is vital to the health and wellbeing of all.
